Differences

Moral actions do positively contribute to a society. This means that when a person makes a choice to do their right thing with their actions society is a better place. Janusz Korczak, a Jewish doctor writer and educator, was a person who when Jewish lives were threatened made the difficult moral choice to ignore his own chance to live and instead chose to remain with the Jewish children in his care. Korczak became a hero for countless Jews and others because he demonstrates the traits of selflessness, compassion, reliability. He was a man who helped and cared deeply about children.. Korczak was known by people from his orphanage and what he did about it. A man that did something no one else would have done in this time. A man that chose to die with the children.

Janusz Korczak to me is a man who is the most selfless person I have ever known. Korczak demonstrates him being selfless from what he did with his life one of the things he did was trying to join the Polish army. He joined to destroy all the terrible Nazi’s but was rejected for his old age. From that he showed how selfless he was to volunteer to fight for his country, Poland. But the biggest thing he ever done to show how much selfless he is for how he wanted to give up his life for Jewish children at the Orphanage that he worked at. The children were going to be poisoned by the horrid Nazis but he was not going to be killed he was going to be a doctor for the Nazi’s but he refused and wanted to give his life up for 192 Jewish children, to go and be poisoned in Treblinka with them.

Janusz Korczak shows his compassion for the 192 Jewish children who he helped in the Orphanage was by giving the Jewish children a newspaper page that was published in the Poland-Jewish Newspaper, and there own radio station the was cancelled after three years from complaints, but the biggest thing he did was going down with Jewish Children. Many others wouldn't do anything they would just run and hide, as for Janusz Korczak he was given the chance to live for being a doctor and help the Nazi’s but for what they were doing to all the Jewish young in the Orphanage and to all the Jewish people around the world.

anusz Korczak was a Jewish man that would never want to work for all the Nazis. I think that Janusz Korczak was a great man a courage's a selfless a compassionate and a reliable man. To wanting to go to war against all the Nazi’s but was not allowed for his age and then having a Orphanage with 192 Jewish children who were going to be killed in Treblinka and he wanted to die with them.
For how he would give up his life for a really hard time for the Jewish people would rather want to die then live. From how he did that Korczak shows to me as a hero only to the 192 Jewish children but a huge Idol to Jewish people and to people around the world.

Janusz Korczak shows how reliable he is by his honesty kindness and respect to all the Jewish people in the Orphanage and to all Jewish people everywhere. Janusz Korczak was given a chance to leave the Orphanage many years before the Nazis came be he refused but when they did come he refused to abandoned the children and last a Jewish police men was helping the Nazis but when he saw Korczak’s face he noticed who he was and was offering the chance to abandon the children but he did not take the chance of leaving them and after that no one heard anything else from him.

Korczak a Doctor a Writer a Educator and a Man that helps Jewish Young in a Orphanage was shown as a big hero. A hero to Jewish people a hero shown to Many people around the world. Korczak lived his life in Poland from birth to death 1878 to 1942, Korczak lived for 64 years until the Nazis destroyed everything that he got what the Jewish children got and what all Jewish people got. Korczak wanted to join the polish army to help destroy the Nazi’s but was not allowed for his age so instead he helped the Jewish children. Korczak was taken really seriously and from what he did he was a Jewish hero and a Poland hero and a hero to many people.

Challenges which they have to accept

People in the world today have been fighting for their lives. Some people were born with challenges to over come some people gained challenges in their life, but for most of them they couldn’t over come them. Other people without challenges became challenges towards the people who couldn’t over come their own, by making fun of them and pushing them around, hurting them inside and out. But there were some people had to repeat life more than once.

Christopher Reeve, an actor that was paralyzed when thrown from a horse, claimed, “A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.”
Following the tragedy of Christopher Reeve he had to restart his life. He longer could act because of his condition being paralyzed, Also Hollywood wanted nothing to do with him. His career was his smallest problems at the moment. He had to relearn to take care of himself, all the basics that he used to have that are no gone. For Christopher Reeve he needed to have determination and strength to have a life. Life presents many challenges; it takes a strong person to persevere and fight for success. Many people receive challenges which are difficult to overcome even some that are to difficult that they are stuck with forever.

One young adult, William Wissemann fights to achieve his educational goals.
William is just one person of many that has challenges to overcome. When William was young he was diagnosed with dyslexia which is a disease that troubles people with learning. It made William have difficulties with reading and interpreting words and letters and symbols. People who have dyslexia such as William have trouble with reading and writing than others. William was no exception by the time he reached fourth grade, Which was difficult for him to adapt to learn like the others. By the time he was done with fourth grade he had moved into a special school which will help him with his difficulties. This school taught William to cope being with dyslexia, they taught him how to conquer challenges that get presented in life. This school became a success for him in the future, he was able to go back to a proper school to experience other challenges.

Those people have challenges to over come, they are hard for them they don’t seem hard to us but being in their position is really difficult for them. People make it worse for them, but what do they do, they just keep on going with life to over come their challenge. I believe people should stop getting in their way when they already have a big enough obstacle. This what I believe is worth fighting for.

The Flood That Kills Innocent Lives

Thailand my third home I don't have that many friends left there but I still call it a home to me. I was there when I was two and a half till I was eight then I moved here Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. I lived in Bangkok which now is flooded, when I lived there, there were only floods that weren't that big but now the floods keep getting bigger and bigger.

People around the world need to take action to these problems. There are some countries that rarely get floods because they know how to get of rid of it and how to survive Thailand and Cambodia have floods over 200 people have died in each country. I don't know why people would not try to stop this because the human population has just dropped over 500 people with in 1 week and people don't really care that much because if they did they would take action. I can't because I am just a boy in 8th grade and 13 years old and has still much to live if something bad doesn't happen to me in life. Thailand is a country that I have spent the time in the most even more then Malaysia and England and New Zealand which I am from so thats why I care about this disaster that is taking place.

It has been more than a week since I had last wrote about this finding updates on the Flooding in Thailand and it still is getting worse each and every day. Everyday Thailand Residents are walking with the water up to there chest’s which is really dangerous for what can be in the water and the water is really dirty. Where I used to live in Nichada Bangkok Thailand the water is only up there door step but its still a serious case and I’m hoping that it will stop soon before it becomes even bigger issue than it is now.

Monks are paddling their boat around Thailand for their transportation, people are cramming into small tiny boats to be out of the water. When I lived in Thailand there was only one major flood and that was at our school but in dried up over the weekend. People are evacuating Some places around the country because of this flood. They are walking in the water with children in their arms and their clothes in plastic bags. People are dying slowly from this flood because it;s causing many more problems, things are collapsing, the water is getting more infected. Their was one girl who was with her family in the flood when a sand bag has collapsed and landed on her she was in bad condition but still she barely alive.

This is not a big issue for me because I have no family there and a few friends who are safe from the flood at the moment because it's not so bad where they are in Thailand. But I care about the natural disaster that is taking place in Thailand. I have not been back to Thailand since last year but that was to Phuket where I go a lot as for Bangkok where I lived. I am going to Bangkok in January and by then the flood will be over and I hope that no else will die but everyone knows that it is not possible because of what condition the country is in, But I hope that this Flood will stop very soon.

What is Worth FIghting for

HOPE ONE WAY

People in world need Hope, and Hope is only one way for many. The way for Hope for in Africa is the way to food. But there is only a few ways for them to get food and the main way is if people give them food, Also Hope for many people around the world is shelter as well as food but mainly for for food and shelter that is needed is in Africa.

People in England need Hope because of the rioting that was taken place. Houses were robbed and Shops were destroyed a long the streets. Even some people lost their lives. This was horrible thing that took place in England. It lasted five long days and five long nights until it finally came to a end, the days that it took part in were 6 of August to the 10 of August. Five people had lost their lives because of others rioting and over 16 people were injured, but the police men that tried to stop this monstrosity had the most injured in a total of 186 police men. Those men risked their lives to save others and stop others who were rioting. those many people that were rioting had destroyed so much. They destroyed buildings, flats (apartments), houses, and in total from those rioters they destroyed an estimated amount of two hundread million in property damage. This amount of money in property damage took place in London, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, West Midlands, Bristol, and many more places.

When 15th of August had reached 3,100 people had been arrested across the Mother Land and 1,000 people had been charged from the damages the had caused. Vehicles, homes, and shops were attacked and destroyed from people that were rioting. At least 100 houses were destroyed so many people had most their homes due to that. In one small part of London there was so much damage cause that the shop owners came together to see how property damage was cause and it was million of pounds. On August 9th Transportation offices were closed down because of what people had done. Some people had burned double decker busses, some had burned and put graffiti on peoples cars. So in London they took action to stop this monstrosity and closed it down until they had further notice in the rioting.

So this is what I think is worth Fighting for HOPE. There was hope that was needed in England when the Rioting had taken place for now the People of England are lucky that it had stopped.

Since I am Not sure how to have Eric post a comment this is his comment below:
I really like the fact that you used an example such as an event that had taken place in England, which was a riot. You also said that people in Africa need hope due to the fact that there were only little ways to achieve food. However, I was wondering, is it the 'hope' that they need? I could also be 'help' and many different others. In opposite, you gave a nice example which was 'main way is if people give them food'. I feel that as well. Basically, everything was organized in a structure that was need for it to be a paragraph. However, you could have given some more specific details concerning about each paragraphs or a concluding sentence. In addition to that, it might have been better if you had used a quote sumarizing the essay or quoting what this essay is going to be about. It is because it gives the readers basic information for them to understand the essay easily.

Hope in Christchurch

This week would be the 6 month since the dreadful earthquake in Christchurch (New Zealand). The earthquake was more than 7 magnitude which killed 181 people and injured so many and destroyed so many buildings including the citys iconic Catholic Church of the Blessed Sacrement as well as Christchurch's cathedral. The city is slowly rebuilding from the earthquake but another reason why this was so terrible a earthquake the was around the same magnitude hit the city a couple weeks before.

Right now the city is not fully completed to how it was before the earthquake. The main thing in the city now is to Rebuild what was destroyed I agree but what I say is the city needs is Hope because people were building the city when another earthquake hit and they don't want that to ever happen again. For being a New Zealander I was worried about the city even though I had no family members there. I didn't want anything to go wrong ever in New Zealand but then a few months ago there was a tornado in Auckland New Zealand, and thats where I am from, and I was hoping so much my family there was okay luckily they were okay and only one man died.

In Christchurch still they are building a lot better buildings so if there will ever be another disaster in Christchurch they will be ready for building stronger buildings and now they Hope that no other disasters will come and I Hope no other disasters will happen to the country.

Hope is also important in many countries because there has been many problems there was a horrible earth quake in Japan, people in africa are starving and people hope that
they will get what they need. But since people Hoped and cared for people in Japan and they got what they needed and Africa people care they are getting some food some water and shelter and being cared for but that is not enough I Hope that they will get more then they have right now.

VICTORY IS ALWAYS POSSIBLE FOR THE PERSON WHO REFUSES TO STOP FIGHTING- Napolen Hill
